As part of its new membership policy and born out of a desire to highlight the involvement and commitment of its members in the development and dissemination of PERTE DE SIGNAL, the centre has created a new category: the honorary member.
The Board of Directors is proud to present Jason Arsenault as the first honorary member.
Jason Arsenault works in the fields of visual and new media arts as an artist, independent curator, and teacher. He is particularly interested in work that reconsiders spectatorship.
The projects that he has been involved in at the centre include Cubicules (2005-2007), an exhibition that travelled to venues in six locations (Mont-Laurier, Sudbury, Ottawa, Quebec City, Toronto, Saint-Jérôme), and the publications relative to Cubicules; Projectiles, an exhibition of digital works presented at Expression, Centre d’exposition de Sainte-Hyacinthe; as well as the publication, 10 ans de création numérique, which underlines the first ten years of creation at PERTE DE SIGNAL.
He has been a member of PERTE DE SIGNAL since 2000, and was president of the board from 2003 to 2011.
